I attended McKinney North High School where I was the starting varsity goalkeeper my Junior and Senior year, while also playing club for Solar SC in the Dallas Classic League. After high school, I pursued playing at a higher level and played 1 year at Paris Junior College and then 2 years in NCAA Division II at Southwest Baptist University in Missouri. After my collegiate soccer career came to an end, I continued my education at the University of North Texas where I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Communications.
After my 2 years in Missouri when my soccer career came to what I thought was the end, I found myself discouraged and disconnected from the game and the position I loved the most, goalkeeper. I thought I'd never put on my gloves again, but stepping away gave me perspective. The Stikerz organization helped me rediscover and rekindle my love for the game by giving me an opportunity to coach their goalkeepers and help the youth of the next generation of great soccer players. Watching the kids grow as players has brought me nothing but joy and which is why I decided to take the next step in my coaching career. Not only do I want to coach but I want to be a mentor and help the players find the best path for the next steps in their soccer careers while still keeping the passion for the game alive.
Growing up, soccer was one of the most important parts of my life, teaching me countless life lessons which has helped drive me to become the man I am today. As a coach, I aim my focus on helping players improve their tactical and positional awareness, build mental toughness and play to their strengths. I believe the mindset and confidence you build through soccer can make all the difference in the game as well as in life. I am here to motivate, support and inspire players to grow both as athletes and individuals.
