Our History

 Our teams will be instructed and coached on how to "build from the back." Our take on possession is coaching our players to pick the right pass and retain the ball by finding the solutions that the opposition presents, whether that's "tiki-taka" in tight spaces, dribbling around players, or executing a long pass. We will never punish or discourage our players from utilizing their problem-solving skills to find a solution that works for them and the team. 

 Building off of our possession concept, our teams will look to progress the ball up the field to create finishing opportunities. We encourage our players to do so by any means that fits the situation, whether by a quick counter, an extended run, or 30 passes started from the back. We will work on dominating opponents in multiple ways! 

Once the team progresses down the field, we then look to create goal-scoring chances as much as possible. Our teams will be positive and proative, coached on creating and finishing chances from all possible angles. An early cross, long shot, set piece, team goal, etc., our goal is to give every player a chance to find "their" goal, and we will celebrate each one the same! 

 Our final concept is transition. When our teams are unable to finish off a chance or maintain possession, aka "we lost the ball," our coaches will never get frustrated - it's part of the game. Our outlook is that losing the ball allows us to "press" and win the ball back in a better position than when we started! Our "press" will be intentional and calculated as our teams will be instructed to defend in classic and universal strategies.
